A Hyper-Local Tour of Boston!

Join us at one of three free-to-all pop-up concerts in some of Boston’s favorite spots. No need to buy tickets: just show up and enjoy!

Pieces include “Kalinda” in Haitian Creole; “Balleilakka,” a Tamil tongue-twister from India; “Salseo,” a Venezuelan song with a salsa beat; and the stirring “Songs for the People” by Melissa Dunphy.

Stop by at any of these locations throughout the day to hear us!

11:00 AM - Thomas Crane Public Library

40 Washington Street, Quincy, MA, 02169

Opened in 1882, the Thomas Crane Public Library inspires curiosity, sparks imagination, fosters community, and connects people to the online world. The Main Library building consists of four distinct structures designed by four different architects, beginning with the 1882 H.H. Richardson building and ending with the 2001 addition. Each part of the building is generally referred to by the name of the architect responsible for its design.

BCE will perform in the Richardson Building at 11:00am.

1:30 PM - MassArt Art Museum

621 Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02115

Opened in 2020, the MassArt Art Museum is Boston’s newest museum, a space to experience works by visionary artists at the forefront of contemporary art. As MassArt's teaching museum, they are committed to educating and empowering the next generation of artists—both on the campus and throughout the world.

BCE will perform in the Stephen D. Paine Gallery at 1:30pm.

3:00 PM - Boston Public Library, Copley Square

700 Boylston Street, Boston, MA 02116

Established in 1848, the Boston Public Library was the first large free municipal library in the United States, the first public library to lend books, the first to have a branch library, and the first to have a children’s room. The Central Library in Copley Square encompasses two buildings, both landmarks. The historic McKim building is known for its classical serenity and elegance, as well as the magnificent Bates Hall reading room. The Boylston Street Building is a 21st century library space featuring a broadcast studio and innovation center.

BCE will perform in Deferrari Hall in the Boylston Street Building at 3pm.
