BCE presents the first complete North American performance of Thomas Jennefelt’s Villarosa Sequences. This seven-movement symphony for voices combines the meditative qualities of minimalist tone clusters with the drama of vibrant melodic lines to craft a unique choral experience that is at once peaceful and exhilarating.

Amidst the darkness of winter, BCE brings new light to the Tenebræ service with a program united by common themes of reflection, suffering, and redemption. Hear traditional works from the Renaissance and 20th century set against the East Coast premiere of Paul Crabtree’s Tenebræ Responsories on Songs by Bob Dylan.
