The final concert in BCE's 2013/14 season is entitled "Cosmic Journey" and comprises a number of pieces related to the heavens and celestial bodies ranging from Zvonimir Nagy's evocative Eternal peace, to Trond Kverno's setting of the Ave Maris Stella. It will also feature the extraordinary Lux Aeterna by György Ligeti (popularized by the movie 2001: A space odyssey) and Ēriks Ešenvalds Stars for double choir and tuned water glasses.
We are honored and delighted that these concerts will be held in the Hayden Planetarium in Boston's Science Museum and will include a spectacular visual depiction of the music.
Tickets for this event are only available through the BCE web site. Please note space is limited, so book early.
