Dedham Performance

One of the many things the Boston Choral Ensemble (BCE) strives for, as outlined in our mission, is to help develop musical interest and ability in young adults. We are thrilled to announce that this concert cycle, we have the exciting opportunity to do just that!

On Tuesday, May 15, BCE will team up with the members of the Dedham High School chorus to perform select pieces from our upcoming program, Americana, and their spring concert program. Miguel Felipe, BCE's director, will spend an afternoon with the students beforehand, talking about the pieces to be performed, various topics helpful to high school choirs, and answering questions.

We will bring it all together in rehearsal on May 15 and plan to showcase our collaboration in a special joint performance at 7:30 pm that evening.

We hope that our work with these students will get them more interested in and excited about choral music. This concert is open to the public and free of charge. If you would like to attend, please visit their website for details, directions, and parking instructions.

Hear us in Concert

The Boston Choral Ensemble's 8th season has begun and the singers are preparing MAGNIFICAT, a choral celebration of the centuries-old musical tradition in praise of Mary. As our audiences have come to expect, the program includes a novel collection of works from various centuries, continents, and styles—all linked by common theme.
