The Boston Choral Ensemble anticipates openings in all voice parts for our 8th season. Please check back late summer for further details.

Each season, the The Boston Choral Ensemble maintains a membership of 28 – 32 voices. At the beginning of each rehearsal period, we are open to singers (based on each sections' need) who are interested in joining our vibrant, challenging, and social music-making environment.

The BCE holds open auditions on the Wednesday after the first Tuesday rehearsal of each rehearsal period (in September, January, and March). Those interested in joining who are unable to attend the first rehearsal should contact the membership chair to schedule an individual appointment. Successful members often have previous choral experience and at least basic sight-reading abilities. The audition will consist of several exercises for which no preparation is necessary. There is no need to reserve a spot, although if you are planning to audition we encourage you to contact us ahead of time.

The BCE rehearses each Tuesday from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at Old South Church. For more information, please complete the form below and our membership chair will be in contact with you. We look forward to singing with you!
